Rod Adams
New Justice Project
Rod Adams is the Executive Director of the New Justice Project, an organizing hub for working class black Minnesotans. New Justice Project organizes around public safety, housing, and connects community members and formerly incarcerated workers to union careers. Rod has been building grassroots power on many issues in Minneapolis since 2015. He was one of the leading organizers in the successful minimum wage campaign in 2015.
Rod spent 2 years at Detroit Action, as the Deputy Director fighting for public safety reform and leading civic engagement and corporate accountability campaigns in Michigan. He has also served as the Executive Director of Tending the Soil, a coalition of progressive power-building organizations in Minnesota.
